Training

Preseason training will commence on Tuesday, 17 January. Training will be held on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30-8:30 p.m. There will be a number of voluntary fitness sessions run on Sundays. More details about these sessions will be given at Thursday trainings. Trainings will start at 6:30 p.m. sharp so please ensure you are there before and are ready to train by 6:30 p.m. sharp.

Location of Training

For those players who are new to the club, trainings are conducted on the ovals to the right of the main entrance to Flinders University at the times shown above. During daylight saving we normally train on the bottom ovals and move up to the upper ovals after daylight saving. The change rooms are located in the building in the middle of the ovals on the side facing South Road. See Google Map below for details of exact location.

How to join the club

To join the club simply turn up to a practice and meet the coaches who will direct you to a training group.

To register with the club you should register your details on the website. If you are a new player you must bring in a PASSPORT size photo and fill in a new registration form. The club will not register any player without receiving minimum payment detailed below.

First Aid

Due to the high cost of sports tape and strapping, the club will only supply sports tape and strapping to those players injured during an official match and who require this support to return to the playing pitch on that day. All others who require sports tape and strapping must supply their own. No sports tape and strapping will be provided at training.

Insurance

All Players are reminded that the club is NOT part of any player insurance scheme, and are NOT covered by the Amateur League's Accident Fund. Current Flinders University students and Flinders University staff are covered for accident insurance. Players are reminded to review if this cover meets their needs. All other players will need to source their own insurance if they wish to have it.
